The CAMRA award-winning Coachmakers Arms has live music most Wednesdays and a great selection of ever-changing real ales. The music is on in one of the back rooms, which is where you'll want to be if you want to listen to it and see the musicians. It's a small pub, so if you want to have a chat with friend's you'll still be able to hear the music in any of the other three rooms.
The Coachmakers Arms is under threat of demolition
The plans being proposed by the developers of Hanley's new East-West Centre would mean the end of one of the city centres best traditional pubs, one of the most welcoming you'll find anywhere. Call in at the Coachmakers for a pint of excellent real ale and while you're there, sign the petition.
